Hey Guys, it’s Emily here from MiaThrives!

Since the start of the Coranaviruis stores have been quickly selling out of hand sanitizer, even online stores such as amazon. Occasionally when you can find it the prices are raised because of the demand. For these reasons I decided to figure out how I could make hand sanitizer at home in three easy steps!

You can watch the full video here (or down below).

What you need:

  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Aloe vera gel (click here for link) Side note, it is a great product to have at home for sunburns.
  • Tea Tree oil (click here for link) Can also be used to help heal acne & breakouts.
  • Container (click here
  •  for link) You can save any extra bottles for future travel.

Step by Step:

Give your container a good wash before starting. Then pour in 60% rubbing alcohol before filling up the remained 40% with Aloe vera gel. Then add10-15 drops of Tea Tree oil, that has amazing antibacterial properties.

Optional: add any other essential oils of your choice or vitamin e that helps support healthy skin cell function!

We used knee pads to protect the skin on my knees. I started wearing them when I was around six months old and learning to crawl, and I continued to wear them growing up in school.
