Valentine’s Day Butterfly Craft

Quick and Easy Kids’ Butterfly for Valentine’s Day!

All the materials used are from the dollar store but you can get creative and use items from around your home. Happy Valentine’s Day crafting!

What you will need:

  • Coloured paper
  • Popsicle stick
  • Scissors
  • Glue (hot glue, white glue, or glue stick)
  • Marker
  • Wire

Step one:

Fold a sheet of colour paper in half to make a heart. Use that heart as a template to make a second heart so that your butterfly will be symmetrical.

Step two:

Trim the points off the ends of the two hearts.

Step three:

Place to hearts together and glue popsicle stick into the middle.

Step four:

This is the fun part!


Time to get creative when adding the antennas, eyes, and decorating the butterfly’s wings!
