Tessa’s EB primarily affects her feet and this hack is ideal for between your toes. She does this hack at night by spreading her toes and applying cornstarch. She finds it helps dry out blisters and prevent infection. You can use toilet paper to hold the cornstarch is place. This also helps to prevent friction, you can then apply a sock or silk sock. Silk socks are very thin and still allows the skin to breathe
You can find cornstarch at most pharmacies or on amazon.
Dermosilk clothing comes in a range of products including silk socks. Click here to view their website. Dermolsilk was made for enema but has many qualities that are also beneficial for people living with EB. You might also be eligible for a discount and can apply through this link.
We would love to hear from you if this is something you’ve tried and it works for you! Also, feel free to let us know if you have any other EB Hacks!
