EB Hacks- EB Friendly Bra
Mar 11, 2020

Hey, Guys, it’s Emily here from MiaThrives!

Today I am going to talk about one of the only bras that have ever worked well for my skin! Bras can be a tricky thing to shop for when you’re living with EB. Lots of extra aspects to keep in mind to find a product that doesn’t cause friction and blistering.

You can watch the full video here (or down below).

The Aerie Real Sunnie Wireless Lightly Lined Bra

I have been living in this style bra for the past few years, it comes in a variety of colors and strap types. What has worked well for me is it is seamless, stretchy and wireless. It doesn’t have any plastic, metal or clips, you pull it over your head like a sports bra. Before I found this bra I was primarily wearing sports bras but they didn’t always compliment what I was wearing for example with a v-line neck or tank top. I have never had that issue with this bra and you can barely see it under a t-shirt!

Note:

If you want your bras to last longer do not put them in the dryer, hang them to dry. Using a mild\natural laundry detergent also helps delicate articles of clothing last longer.

We used knee pads to protect the skin on my knees. I started wearing them when I was around six months old and learning to crawl, and I continued to wear them growing up in school.
